The list of futures contracts now stands at seven for the New England Patriots.

The organization announced the signing of former Chicago Bears offensive lineman Arlington Hambright on Tuesday afternoon.

Hambright, 25, entered the NFL in the seventh round of the 2020 draft at No. 266 overall. He appeared in nine games during his rookie season, starting one game at left guard while totaling 82 snaps on offense and 43 snaps on special teams.

The product of Garden City Community College, Oklahoma State and Colorado then signed to Chicago’s practice squad in September after clearing waivers at the league’s roster deadline. Hambright, listed at 6-foot-5, 315 pounds, dressed as an elevation in October against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but did not play.

So long Ham, we hardly got to know you! Good Luck in the AFC and in New England.

Offense

Andy Dalton, quarterback
Damien Williams, running back
Allen Robinson II, receiver
Marquise Goodwin, receiver
Damiere Byrd, receiver
Jakeem Grant Sr., receiver/return specialist
Jimmy Graham, tight end
Jesse James, tight end
Jason Peters, tackle
Germain Ifedi, tackle/guard

The Bears will also have five restricted free agents. Restricted free agents are players with three accrued seasons. They can sign an offer sheet with another team, but their original club can match it or possibly receive compensation (depending on the qualifying offer made to the player). Here are the Bears' restricted free agents-to-be:

Ryan Nall, running back
J.P. Holtz, tight end
Alex Bars, guard/tackle
Xavier Crawford, cornerback
Teez Tabor, safety

The Bears will have three exclusive rights free agents, who are players with two or fewer accrued seasons. They can only negotiate and sign with their original club. Here are the Bears' exclusive rights free agents:
