Jordan Howard signs one year deal with the Eagles
0

Former Bear RB Jordan Howard signs one year deal to return to Philly. Jordan played for the Eagles at the end of last season after being released by the Dolphins.

Jordan a former 2 time 1000 yard rusher for the Bears, ran for 60 yards on 35 carries last year. That is a 1.714 yard per carry average. How do you get a 1.7 yard average when a 6 foot tall man falling down should account for 2 yards?

Maybe he wasn't a scheme fit after all? Is Nagy secretly a genius? An all seeing eye of truth?

Howard just keeps coming up with one year contracts too?

Maybe he hasn't found the right scheme yet?

Howard just keep hanging on! Dude is a good downhill runner, cannot figure out why he can't get it going outside Chicago. I was sure he was going to set fire to the NFL and make Nagy look stupid.

Yeah, I have to admit, I was pretty surprised that releasing Howard was the dumbest move. But Howard has really struggled outside of Chicago. Who knows, maybe there was some injury issues or maybe the guy just does not have the heart.

I remember Fox saying something to the effect he is invisible on the practice field. They had no idea he could perform based on workouts. Maybe he just can't get the trust of his new teams.

Train like you are 2nd, but play like you are 1st.
